PROVERBS 2:1-6 – THE QUEST FOR WISDOM
RECEIVE AND HIDE – Vs. 1
Proverbs 2:1 (KJV) - My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;
INCLINE AND APPLY – Vs. 2
Proverbs 2:2 (KJV) - So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
CRY AND SHOUT – Vs. 3
Proverbs 2:3 (KJV) - Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
SEEK AND SEARCH – Vs. 4
Proverbs 2:4 (KJV) - If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
UNDERSTAND AND FIND – Vs. 5
Proverbs 2:5 (KJV) - Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

PROVERBS 4:20-22 – THE BODY AT WORK
Figuratively speaking we see the body at work bringing about Godliness.
THE MIND ATTENDS - "My son, attend to my words;"
THE EAR INCLINES - "...incline thine ear unto my sayings."
THE EYES FOCUS - "Let them not depart from thine eyes;"
THE HEART KEEPS - "...keep them in the midst of thine heart."
THE FEET TRAVEL (to find God's Word) - "For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh."

PROVERBS 5 – SEXUAL PURITY IN MARRIAGE
BE ATTENTIVE - Vss. 1-2
Make sure that you are attentive to the teaching of the Word of God.
BE AWARE - Vss. 3-6, 20-23
Be aware of the adulterous woman. - Vss. 3-6
Be aware that God is watching. - Vss. 20-21
Be aware of the consequences. - Vss. 22-23
BE AVOIDING - Vss. 7-14
Stay clear of all temptation to be unfaithful.
BE ADDICTED - Vss. 15-19
Be addicted to your wife and her love.

PROVERBS 6:12-15 – MARKS OF WORTHLESSNESS
People are not worthless (Genesis 1:27, 1 Timothy 2:3-4), but they are capable of living worthless lives. Here are the signs or marks of a person living a worthless life. He or she is:
SCATHING WITH THE MOUTH – Vs. 12
SLY IN BODY LANGUAGE – Vs. 13
SCHEMING IN HEART – Vs. 14
SINISTER IN ACTION (SOWS DISCORD) – Vs. 14
SUDDEN IN DEMISE – Vs. 15

Definition of Wisdom - Job 28:28
Proverbs 30:24-28 gives us four examples from nature of things that are small, but wise. They have much to teach us.
THE ANT – SMALL, BUT WISELY INDUSTRIOUS – Vs. 25

Industrious In Our Devotion to God – Philippians 3:10
Industrious Within the Church – Each person doing their part – Romans 12:3-8
